Pesach..An Eternal Testimony to Gods covenant/righteousness.

Passover/Pesach is the beginning of New year for Jews by commandment, Nissan.

Shemot(Exodus) 12:1-2
And HASHEM spoke unto Moshe and Aharon in the Eretz Mitzrayim(land of Egypt), saying,
2 Hachodesh hazeh(this month) shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

But the Celebrations is the delayed by Commandment till the first day of the 7th month .. Tishrei Rosh Hashanah

PESACH

The key to obtaining "Mercy" from EL-SHADDAI was/is obedience to His laws as it is written:

The key to been saved during Passover was/is "Obedience" to the commandment:

To be Jewish, means complete obedience to the Torah as was commanded by ELOHIM to Moshe. This is how and why ELOHIM chose Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya'acov.

ELOHIM, never testified for book's like Talmud, Zohar, Gemarah and others like it.

Steps to knowing ELOHIM(God).

In 167 BCE the Syrian-Greek emperor, Antiochus, set out to destroy Judaism by imposing a ban on three mitzvot: The Shabbath, The Sanctifying of the New Month (establishing the first day of the month by testimony of witnesses who saw the new moon) and Brit Mila (entering the Covenant of Abraham through Torah-ordained circumcision). The Shabbath signifies that God is the Creator and Sustainer of the Universe and that His Torah is the blueprint of creation, meaning and values.

Sanctifying the New Month determines the day of the Jewish holidays. Without it there would be chaos. For example, if Sukkot is the 15th of Tishrei, the day it occurs depends upon which day is declared the first of Tishrei. Brit Mila is a sign of our special covenant with the Almighty. All three maintain our cultural integrity and were thus threats to the Greek culture.

Mattityahu and his 5 sons, known as the Maccabees, started a revolt and three years later succeeded in evicting the oppressors.
